About Humming Bird English Olympiad (HEO)
Humming Bird English Olympiad aims to assess the competency and efficiency of the students in the area of English Language at national and international standards every year. Its syllabus mainly comprises of the syllabus of CBSE/ICSE and various other State Boards. The HEO examination is entirely based on English Language, which provides a great opportunity to the students not only to test their skills but also to sharp them according to international standard. FCES recommends this competition to each and every school going student who is studying English Language as their subject at the school. We can guarantee that these exams will increase the problem solving skill of the students to a new high.
Syllabus and Marking Scheme
The medium of paper is English only. The examination is for all classes from 1st to 12th with the following details.
40 questions: Subject based
20 questions: Intelligence based
Time: 50 minutes
The school itself will be the center of examination.
Level 2 examination will be conducted on 15th February, 2019. List of qualifying candidates will be sent to the respective schools.
Schedule for 2018-2019 examination
The exam will be held on 22nd November or 8th December 2018.
